Strawberry Full Moon

On June 11, 2025, we have a Strawberry Full Moon in Sagittarius. In astrology, the full moon shines a light on the emotional aspects of oneself, the subconscious, and illuminates hidden characteristics that need to be looked at. This is a time where some people may experience heightened emotions, projecting onto others what they themselves need to work on. The significance of a Strawberry Full Moon ties into the changing of seasons, coming into summer, and shifting to the rhythms of the change in frequency. Astrologically speaking, this is a wonderful time to connect to the shifts in nature as you allow yourself to reground in purpose.


The Full Moon in Sagittarius allows one the freedom to expand (Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter) and to look at the past in a more philosophical way. Is there another way to experience the past? Are there other points of view to consider? Are there emotions that you are holding onto that you would like to let go of? Another way that Sagittarius allows freedom is that the focus comes to one's life purpose. This is a great time to reflect on where you are and where you consciously would like to go. Sagittarius is known to be the philosopher, one that seeks truth via cognitive dissonance, and allows the mind to be challenged so as to get closer to one's higher-self. Most Sagittarians have this beautiful way of taking any situation and finding the good in it. This is a wonderful time to reflect, find where you can challenge your past perceptions and beliefs, and open to new and different perspectives!


While it is true that astrologically the moon represents our duality internally, it also symbolizes one's relationship to the past, to the feminine (traditionally mother), one's inner emotional world, and how one handles security/insecurity. So whenever there is a full moon, there may be a considerable amount of emotion that arises. It may be wise to acknowledge your emotions, journal the inner workings on paper, and reflect on what message your nervous system has stored. Without judging these inner reflections as "right" or "wrong", practice creating a safe-space for yourself, objectively observing whatever is coming up, and find healthy ways to release the triggers that are stored in your body.


Here are some ways to work with this Full Moon energy:

  • Allow yourself to acknowledge the feeling

  • Observe the emotion(s), identify them, and try to name them

  • Are there other times in the past that these emotions are connecting to?

  • What is the underlying message?

  • Where might you have felt unsafe in expressing this in the past?

  • How can you create a safe-space for yourself in the present and moving forward?

  • Would you be willing to acknowledge the hurt you feel, let it pass through you, and then choose forgiveness? (Forgiveness is not about condoning the actions. Forgiveness can be about letting go of the hurt and pain that is living rent-free inside of oneself. In this way, one may be able to choose forgiveness so as to move forward and break the connection to the event and other person, which can be liberating and taking one's power back)

  • How would you like to create your life and world from this time on? Only you have the power to change your life. No one else can do this for you. What healthy ways might you be able to use what you've been through to help others?


    By focusing on where your power is, instead of where it isn't, you begin taking charge of your own life and world. In this way, you become expansive, compassionate, and find the flow to life!
