The Symbolic Language of DREAMS

Dreams can feel powerful, scary, confusing, and lucid in energy. There are dreams that are revelatory, providing insight into the deeper, darker corners of the mind where we dare not go, and there are dreams that provide realization into deeper desires. The Symbolic Language of Dreams class explores these deeper, potentially hidden meanings with different methods of dream analysis, potentially providing deeper insight into unconscious motivations, desires, thoughts, meanings, and fears that leak into daily life. The goal is to provide a platform where you can bring your dream journal, discuss key aspects of the dream, and connect the dots between the waking life and inner world. Analyzing your dreams can be exciting, confronting conflicts that arise in dreams, why we respond the way we do in daily life vs. the dream world, and making connections between what's happening and who we want to be.

 

Some aspects we explore in this class are: Why do certain people keep showing up in your dreams? Do spirit animals present themselves in dreams? Why did this specific animal show up in my dream? What does a car or a house represent in dreams? Does the dream reveal a secret desire or fear I'm not acknowledging? What does it mean to be in a certain location or room? Why do dreams affect my mood when I wake up? If I have superpowers in a dream, what might that represent? What does it mean if I have a dream where I am flying? Why do some dreams seem to be recurring? Do dreams have meaning or is it just random brain activity? and so on.
